"Be sure to visit this small town museum, and find there's nothing small about it. Artful exhibits of Native American roots, a paper mill from pioneer days to being the world's largest producer of coated paper, ski jumping, religious underpinnings, extravagant skating pageants, development of a first class school system, military contributions over the years, even a locally built iron lung during the nation"s polio epidemic.....AND MORE! Exhibits are upgraded continuously."
William G.
"Fascinating museum! Their exhibits cover every significant event in the town's history, and they even have a bunch of historical artifacts. My favorite was the collection of Kimberly-Clark Cooperative books. Great place to stop and explore."

A Museum Without Walls
Serenity Woods is more than just a peaceful retreat—it is also known as “The Museum Without Walls”, a place where history and nature come together in perfect harmony. The very land on the corner of Quincy and Jefferson has deep historical roots, and its story continues to unfold through the thoughtful preservation of its features.
The vision for this space began in 1960, when Len Turppa initiated the planting of trees that now form the lush canopy of the woods. Several historic structures have been relocated here to honor Niagara’s past, including the grey shed, originally built in the early 1900s and moved from the Dubord Farm in 1990, and the red Fire Shed, recently restored after being relocated from the Mill property. These structures serve as a focal point for dedications, displays, and community activities, making Serenity Woods a truly living museum.
As more historical points of interest are added, the Museum Without Walls continues to grow, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience history in an open, natural setting. Open 24/7, Serenity Woods welcomes all who wish to enjoy its beauty, reflect on the past, and find inspiration in its evolving legacy.
