On April 23, 2014, time capsules from 1964 and 1989 were opened at Triangle Park. A large turnout of residents watched the opening and got a sneak peak at the contents of the capsules. All the contents from the capsules will be on display from now through the centennial at the First National Bank of Niagara and rotating to Forward Financial Credit Union in Niagara. Two TV stations filmed the event, along with radio, and an article appeared in the Daily News.
